CONDITIONS

Osteopathic care focuses on treating a person, not disease,

and virtually any condition, trauma, or illness may benefit.

Osteopathic treatment in itself is not ‘preventive’, even though it does prevent development of many health issues; it is rather providing the body with the opportunity to heal itself.

Osteopaths respect the body’s ability for self-healing and self-regulation, and only intervene when pain or discomfort is present.  Pain is considered as a sign that body requires help and is asking for it.

After immediate concerns like pain and discomfort start disappearing, that usually had been the reasons for seeking medical help at the first place, patients begin to notice improvementin function of all bodily systems, e.g., breathing, blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, digestion, overall energy, mobility, postural balance, mood, sleep, performance in any activity, intellectual, creative or physical.
