He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine with D.O. degree in 1995, and then attended a residency training program in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx specializing in osteopathic manipulations.

Dr. Volokitin was born in St Petersburg (Leningrad), Russia in 1956. Graduated from medical school in the former Soviet Union with M.D. degree and practiced Orthopedic Surgery for seven years specializing in spinal surgery.

TEACHING:

He is an Assistant Professor in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem since 2010.

In 2013 he also became a member of the teaching faculty at the Cranial Academy, subsidiary of the American Academy of Osteopathy.

Dr. Volokitin is a Diplomate of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners in Medicine and Surgery, and a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (2000).
